seek out the help you need to maintain your efforts to transform your community into an anti-racist fellowship.

The Worship Team of Discipleship Ministries believes, however, that such a change will not happen unless the whole process is bathed in prayer every step along the way. To that end, we will continue to provide daily prayers to help keep us all centered on the ongoing journey of transformation. From Monday through Friday, a new prayer will be posted here for your use as personal devotion, to share in your small group, or for use in corporate worship.

If you wish to receive these prayers each day in your email, the you can sign up here. If you would like to submit a prayer for anti-racism, click here to contact us. Join with us in this season of prayer and change in our denomination and beyond.

Daily Prayers for Anti-Racism

EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE PHOTOS

Behold the Light of God!  The Light makes all things new.  God’s Light renews us all.  Behold the Light of God!  This was the message declared by a small group of people (20) who gathered at St. George’s UMC early this Easter morning. As we held candles and walked the path to the site prepared for us…we contemplated the walk those made to the tomb…our path ended with Pastor Sandi sharing the GOOD NEWS that the tomb was empty.  As we extinguished our candlelight…the sun crested over the horizon and blanketed our service with light…our hearts were opened to receive the good news…HE IS RISEN!  We shared in communion and left the space, overwhelmed with the news, the spirit, and the love each shared with one another.  Truly blessed to participate with a church and members who embraced this cold morning service and remember to walk the path that Jesus has set out for us…filled with forgiveness, caring and fellowship.  Happy Easter to all!!

We got to see some faces we hadn't seen in a year or more, and so many guest musicians, not to mention the Bell Choir was there with "bells on"!
